Scientists at MIT have developed a computerized toothpaste dispenser that mixes a different tasting toothpaste in accordance with the day's weather.
"The toothpaste is called "Tastes Like Rain." A little computer in the dispenser checks the Internet for the day's weather, and mixes together several different flavors of toothpaste accordingly. If it's going to be warmer than yesterday, you get a higher proportion of cinnamon toothpaste, and if it's going to be cooler, you get more mint. A blue stripe means it's going to rain."
Seriously, MIT?! Is this really what the brightest scientific minds in our country should be focusing on? How about curing cancer, solving world hunger, or inventing a synthetic life form that can wash dishes and perform a flawless pedicure?! I mean, really!
That said, I guess that it is actually kind of useful. I mean, it's not like you can get the weather forecast on your television, radio, watch, cell phone, i-pad, gaming system, or by simply LOOKING OUTSIDE!
